DJ’s First Show and Tell – Brown Bear Quilts
DJ wrote to us: I was very excited to win the book “Painless Paper-Piecing” by Marjorie Rhine that you donated to the
Capital Quilters Guild. This was my first show and tell, so that made the prize even more exciting. The book has many beautiful projects using a technique that I’m not experienced in. I can’t wait to get started!
By the way, some of the fabric that I used in my show and tell project I purchased from your shop.
I’ve attached some pictures of the quilt that I made and of the Growth Chart made from the scraps. The Brown Bear quilt is the first quilt that I’ve completed in over 20 years (only one quilt prior to that), so I’m quite proud of it.
Don’t you agree that DJ should be very proud of these quilts. Tell us about the quilts that you are working on today!
