Virtual Christmas in July – giveaway!

For those of you that missed our Christmas in July event, we are bringing it to you! And, 3 lucky winners will get a surprise from Santa just for leaving us a comment and telling us which collection is your favorite. See them all here.  We also have Chanukah fabric!

The Wish staff loves to make projects to get your creative juices flowing. Here are some of their efforts…First up is Nancy’s Fruitcake Twister! She used the new Twister tool and a pattern from the Let’s Twist book. She used a couple of the blocks to make a cute matching pillow! J

Janice used the X-block to create this fun Lone Pine quilt using 12 days of Christmas. Cute, cute, cute!

The Lone Pine pattern includes instructions for a companion table runner for  a great holiday look!

Cindy decided to design her own pattern “Santa’s All Round”  for this fun tree skirt. We do have the patterns available in the store. Great way to use up Christmas scraps! The fabric is Colorful Christmas.

Next up – Kris loves embellishment and used the Nancy Halvorsen Good Tidings panel to create this beautiful advent calendar. Kits including the embellishments are available!

Wendy was inspired by a pattern in the  Layercake, Jellyrolls and Charms book. She used just one 12 days of Christmas Layercake to create a great throw.

Cathy used the Urban Cabin pattern and Riley Blake’s Colorful Christmas to create a non-traditional quilt. Angela from Thread Waggle Quilting finished it off with a great tree border and snowflakes all around!

Makin Friends by Deb Strain is perfect for all snowman lovers. This wall hanging is on our front cash register…stop in and check out all of these great quilts and get started on your holiday sewing!

also…just have to comment on your staff’s creativity–obviously a bunch of talented people!! really love the twister quilt, the santa tree skirt and the urban cabin one. all of the quilts are great and very nice ideas. too bad i can’t have 10 trees since i keep finding wonderful tree skirts i’d like to try. it would also be a darling table cloth, but i thought it would be easily adapted to a santa advent calendar–looks just perfect for adding some pockets in rose along the front.
