Sew Sweet Shop Club this Saturday!
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009Don’t forget that Sew Sweet Shop Club is this Saturday. I love the subtle chain in this month’s pattern. You get a quilt pattern and yummy coffee cake this month. The patterns are fat quarter friendly and scrap friendly. You can buy yardage or use what you have. Each pattern also comes with a sweet treat recipe. Wendy will demonstrate the block assembly and explain how to adapt it to other scrap sizes so that you can use what you have. She’ll also be providing tips and tricks on how to use and organize your scraps. Cathy bakes the treats for us to sample and she is a fabulous baker!
We’ll be trading pink and yellow fat quarters. So riffle through your stash for pinks and yellows. I’m thinking we may have to play “fat quarter poker” to mix them up. Please bring ten total so that everyone has an equal buy in.
We will be meeting at 8:30am this Saturday. You don’t want to miss it!
Please register soon so that we can have enough patterns and coffee cake for everyone.
Sew Sweet Shop is also available online! Just make note when you register what month you are registering for and that you want to participate online.

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009
We had a raffle for the door prize and Laura won! Laura, your pack of Fat Quarters is waiting for you in the office at Wish.
Next month is Coffee Cake and we will be trading yellow and/or pink fat quarters. Each member try to bring five each for swapping. I can’t wait for the fun to begin next month!
It’s still not too late to join in the club. You can still get February’s and March’s patterns online at the Sew Sweet Shop Club page or you can register in the store.
